30 year old educational publishing non-profit in Oakland, CA dedicated to "childrens academic, ethical, and social development." Organizational leadership determined that their org needed to begin developing more independent and fee-for-service funding and hoped to do so by creating a culture of sharing, collaboration, and an online community around their products to increase their market share. |
Develop and train staff on the development of a collaborative culture and use of an internal platform for sharing information using social technology as well as develop a new external website featuring community development tools. |

PosiPair, a young company dedicated to creating a "networking platform that connects green businesses, shoppers and civil society in growing Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability market" needed a website that uses community-building social technology to link innovative businesses and individuals interested in buying and selling responsible products and services |
Develop a custom Drupal site featuring social networking, a rating system for businesses to create a destination for consumer discovery, E-Commerce for users, connect like-minded business and providers, and increase both visibility for community members as well as sales. |

Radiant Path |
Radiant Path is a non-profit organization whose mission is to "increase the overall health and well-being of the community by providing natural healing and wellness activities." Looking to increase their visibility and capacity using funds from the UW-Parkside Nonprofit Development Capacity Building Assistance for Nonprofits (CAN) to develop a new online presence with expanded functionality including an email system, discussion forum, event calendar, blog, contact forms, volunteer/intern resources and train staff on use as a marketing and communications tool. |
Brigade consultants worked closely with Radiant Path staff to develop a content management system focusing on easy of use for staff, interns and volunteers using Squarespace technology and free non-profit Google Domain installation. This included training, assistance with content development, and support. |

Regency Homebuilders |
A premier homebuilder in Wisconsin came to the Brigade with the need for a better way of managing their business process for custom homebuilding, which involves tracking thousands of details and decisions for homebuyers, project managers, and contractors. |
The Brigade went through an extensive discovery process both with Regency and in researching the potential market for a web application. The application was then built on the Drupal-based OpenAtrium platform. Regency and the Bucket Brigade are also partnering to develop the application for a wider market. |

Young Jewish Milwaukee |
The Coalition for Jewish learning is beginning a new program called Young Jewish Milwaukee - Telling Our Stories. As a galvanizing event, they are hosting a "Launch Party." Young Jewish Milwaukee needs to encourage and energize youth participation in this project and are hosting a creative facilitation event to emerge with a series of stores to be developed that day. |
The Brigade will utilize our creative facilitation services experience using "Creative Encounters." Using Bucketworks's space, Brigade consultants will publish stories gathered during the event to kick off this new initiative. |
